From the Desk of : Morris Sadek, NACA- President
Mr. Morris Sadek Esq. A Coptic Christian tortured and detained by State Security Investigation, because of using his house for prayers Fakhry Gurgis, Coptic Christians lives in Giza, 20 miles south of Cairo, arrested , tortured, and detained for using his house for prayers. On July 6, 2005 the State Security Investigations arrested Mr. Ayad, tortured and detained. His house now is guarded by authority to prevent any religious prayers. As a part of the persecution the mayor of the village of Abdu-Samad, Al Mansouria, Giza, with the help of the racist authority disallow all Christians who live in the village from selling or buying any thing including the main food of Egyptians, the Bread. Since then, Christians should travel to buy and sell their farming products. On an organized attacks, Muslim terrorists burn a pick up Van owned by Morris Ayad, and assaulted Christians from their homes and houses, while the government and Police protected the perpetrators, looting Jewelry Stores and businesses as well owned by Copts. Comment : Such attach against Coptic Christian village in Al-Giza is not new. Two years ago similar attacks took place against Girza village, where the government pursuing the policy of ethnic cleansing . We raised the issue to the USCIRF, and Department of State to address these kind of assault against Christians, but it seems to be break through has taken place.

The Coalition for the Defense of Human Right Washington
DC, Nov. 19-20, 2004 Dear
Members and Friends; American
Coptic Union, and Egyptian Copts community in Egypt and abroad are
pleased and delighted with Christian Solidarity International
initiative, and CSI Representative Father Keith Roderick for their
concern, and support regarding the plight of Iraqi Christians, and
Christian Minorities in the region. There
are so many commonalties between the Iraqi Christians, and Egyptian
Copts. Genocidal persecution, eradicated culture, and Islamic terrorism
as a same enemy. In
Egypt, terrorists, and government agencies have caused huge devastated
destructive damage on Copts Christians, on the last 30 years. 32
massacres all over Egypt, half million Christian young girls kidnapped,
raped, and forcibly converted, more than three million fled, displaced,
and migrated outside Egypt. Further, more than 300 Churches, destroyed,
burnt, and closed due to government’s regulations, and racist
discriminatory laws and policies. Given
these horrible grim facts, Copts still have a lot of hope on the US
government, Human Rights Organization, and all peace loving people in
Europe to rise and stand against the terror of Arab Islamic governments,
and terrorists in Egypt, as well as in Iraq. American
Coptic Union seize, and honor that great chance to work side by side
with Christian Solidarity International, and its Rep to help save
Christians of Egypt, and Iraq. Therefore, we are glad to introducing our
agenda, and requests hope receiving support, and determination to stop
terrorists from destroying the life, and future of peaceful defenseless
Christians. We are strongly confident on US re-elect President Bush II,
Congress, and Government of their determination and resolution to
eradicate terror in the future Greater Middle East. The following Agenda
items need to be addressed immediately to help save the remaining
wreckage of those two miserable Christian Minorities: 1.
We request a moment of silence for the Human Rights martyr, Sabry Zaky,
Esq., who killed on July 23, 04 by Islamic terrorists in Souhag, Egypt. 2.
Fact-Finding Commission(s). As was the case in Darfur, Sudan, the world
should know and be aware of the size of crimes committed by terror in
Egypt against Coptic Christians. Ethnic Cleansing, killings, and
systematic persecution must be investigated and reported. 3.
Criminals and perpetrators must stand for trials for their crime against
humanity. 4.
Providing security and protection to these communities, needless to speak
about financial and humanitarian help. 5.
Help building a “Representation Body” to negotiate on behalf of
these, Egypt, and Iraqi Christian minorities. Rep members would be
intuitively picked from inside and outside these countries. 6.
USA, EU, and UN should adopt and support resolutions to bring the other
party to the negotiating table for solutions.
