Changing Middle East,
Means Change Corrupt Despotic Regimes
Fighting Terrorism in
Egypt Should Be Part of Global War On Terror
More than two
years past after September 11Th. 2001, and the Arab Islamic regime in
Egypt still practicing same policy of persecution, human rights violations,
ethnic cleansing, and all other crimes against humanity. Changing the Middle
East can’t be done only in Iraq alone. As it is known, Egypt is the heart, and
Brain of Islamic terrorism. Recently, reports and news showed the dirty role of
Mubarak regime and his terrorists allies join forces together with the Army,
Police, Moslem terrorists, in waging attacks against Coptic Christians, on the
last few weeks. The Army, unfortunately supported by USA, led a ruthless attack,
and wiped out a Center for Disables, and Elderly, killing two Coptic Christians
and injuring others (Watany Newspaper, Jan. 12, 04). Further more, the Army
raided and stranded St. Antonious Monastery in Suez and confiscating 2/3 of the
land owned by the Monastery for more than thousand years. In Assiout, the
police, and SSI, State Security Investigation, torture, arrest, beat women,
children, and men inside a historical Christian Church of St. George. On Nov. 7,
03, terrorists attacked the Coptic Christian community in the village of Garza,
30 KM south of Cairo under the protection of the Police, burning more than a
hundred houses, Christian business, wounding more than 20 Coptic Christians(
Watany Newspaper, 19, and 27 of Nov. 2003).
Girza village is neighboring the main strong hold of Ayman El-
zawahry’s, the assistant of Usama Ben Laden, influential family in the area.
In addition, the Arab regime of Egypt has played a role in providing arms to
Hamas in Gaza, and the West Bank in Israel. On the other hand, they play a phony
peacemaker role in the peace negotiation between Hamas, and Israel.
More, our own
information indicates that the Arab terrorist regime of Egypt is communicating
with Al-Qaeda through Ayman Al zawahry’s family in Egypt.
Further more, to show
support to terrorist organizations, the government released more than 6000 (six
thousands) vicious terrorists from jails, on the last few months. On the last
two years, we expect the regime to adjust itself to the new situation in the
Middle East and to learn the lessons of Iraq and Libya. But it seems to be that
the best solution for it is to apply President George Bush’s doctrine, the
pre-empting policy which, is proofed to be a very successful policy for the
Middle East so far.
We see the American role in the Middle East beside; fighting Islamic
terrorism is to reach out to the Coptic Christians, who are the real victims of
Arab Islamic regimes. The best thing to attract, and take them out of silence is
protecting their human, and civil rights with sincere, and seriousness.
This step, would help first, improve the American image and stop
anti-American sentiments. Second, create a front on the local level from those,
whom they disagree with despotic regimes, and the fascism of the fanatic
religious sector.
The Department of State, and American government ought to
start pushing for this direction, now and immediately. The UN would play an
important role toward the issue, and would be a test for all Human Rights
Organizations, who never stop criticizing US policy, in many different previous
occasions. If we do this now, terrorists will lose their local support.
Meanwhile gaining support for America’s policy, because the cause is very
legit and real.
Regarding the issue of promoting democracy, and Human Rights in Egypt.
The regime and its grass roots of fanatic Islamic organizations, such as Moslem
Brotherhood, Jihad, Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations keep
deceiving the world, and USA specifically that they are in the process of huge
change, to adopt and improve democracy and human rights, which is evidently not
true. The Democracy that they
preach, is a version of what so called (Shourah in Islam), which is described by
many Moslem thinkers, as a consultant opinion. According to Islamic laws, the
Moslem ruler has the right to accepted or rejected. In another word, Islamic
regimes want Islamic democracy, or Islamizing “democracy”. When it comes to
Democracy, the regime, and its terrorist allies' follow the example of Syria,
the son should inherits his father’s positions. Their purpose of this weird
democratic system is to keep corruption, oppression, and persecution alive for
the sake of Arabs in these countries.
To create their own version of Islamic Human Rights, they have
two categories, the first for Moslems, the second for Christians, or
non-Moslems. For instance, a new fake council was created by Mubarak’s family,
called National Human Rights Council. This council headed by a former UN
secretary, Boutros Boutros Ghaly, one of senior generation of collaborating with
Islamization in Egypt. Other members of this Council mostly connected, one way
or another with the Moslem Brotherhood, and Islamic Jihad in Egypt, Syria and
Saudi Arabia, which still a main source of finance to Islamic terrorists in
Egypt. The main goal of creating such council is to cover the regime dirty
business against Coptic Christians, and Moslems who disagree with the regime.
United States of America should support human rights that
include the following:
·
Religion
should be separated totally from state. Islamic and Christian Clergy in Egypt
must a truthful attitude to Human Rights’ activities. Unfortunately, clergy
played a very negative role in violating human rights, and crimes cover up.
·
Purifying
the Constitution, Laws, and legislation from any Islamic codes to be imposed on
people who don’t share the fanatic attitude and perspectives.
·
Investigating
and help prosecuting perpetrators who committed crimes against innocent victims,
as well as helping them restore their dignity and properties. The SSI (State
Security Investigations) Officers must stand in Courts for their crimes against
humanity.
·
Rapped
and kidnapped Christian girls who converted to Islam by force and deception
should returned back to their families with full protection and reparations.
Christians, who convert to Islam by force or other means of pressure, should
have the right to return to their original religion without any kind of
retribution.
·
Self-determination,
and self-ruling
for non- Arab citizens should not be excluded if Islamic regimes refuse to
comply with these legitimate rights.
Alike Kurds and Iraqi
Asyrians, Copts are paying the price of the International Human Rights
Organizations, and UN ignorance and cover up for decades. On the last year, Many
voices came out of Egypt crying for US help to free, and take them away from the
iron grip of Arab- Islamic regime and its terrorists militias.
The crimes and human rights violations of Islamic terrorism in Egypt
against Christians, actually were results and responsibility of former President
Clinton’s foreign policy toward such a despotic regime of Mubarak. Now we
still ask the same question why President Bush, despite of his great
achievements on the war on terror, acts reluctantly on Egypt, Syria and Saudi
Arabia? At the same time we still very hopeful that President Bush will continue
and insist to pursue the policy of liberating Middle East’s oppressed nations
from tyranny and terrorism.
As a part of the war on terror, United States must reconsider the military aide to countries like Egypt, and Saudi Arabia because the army in these countries is used, and involved as a tool for persecution and oppression. United States should build bridges to the non-Arab in Egypt, by creating a council to speak on behalf of them-selves. Alike Iraqis under Saddam Hussein, Copts Christians inside Egypt are real captive, and can not uprise, or revolt without outside help.
