Crimes and persecution against Egypt’s Christians still flourishing in Egypt under Mubarak regime. Recently, the regime used the same racist policy against Christians. Ethnic cleansing, kidnap and rap of Christian women, and killing are aspects of Mubarak policy. According to the news more than 60,000 Christian families are being evicted out of their homes and businesses from Al-Mokatam neighborhood in Cairo. The crime of those innocent people is their successful treatment and recycling of the waste. Many American agencies and environmentalist had visited the site and encouraged the recycling procedures are used. On the other hand, the Islamic authorities don’t like to see such successful Christian Community in the heart of Cairo. The government claim that they use ways that may cause pollution, which is totally contradicted with the previous American reports.
As part of
the regime’s policy, kidnapping and rapping Christian women still a preferred
action against Christians. On the last few months tens of Christian women
kidnapped by Moslem terrorists protected by the government. For instance,
Nirmeen Bakhit, 16 years old, from Alexandria kidnapped by a Moslem terrorist,
Mohamed Ahmid, Al Halawanie. The police protect the terrorist and allow him to
go away with his crime. Another case, Jacklyn Fares, 16 years old, in Al Minia
province kidnapped and raped by another Moslem terrorist, Khalid Tawfiq Hussein.
The police arrested her parents, and tortured them to give the kidnapper the
opportunity to flee to Saudi Arabia. These kinds of atrocities never stop under
Mubarak regime, and he has to pay for it. According to a Human Rights
Organization based in Egypt, Al-Kalama Center, reported that “rap and kidnap
rates is high in Al-Minia Provinces 1250 case each year, Cairo, 1125 case,
Alexandria comes third with 1100 case yearly, and Souhag comes at the end of the
list by 5 cases every year”. These statistics shows the vicious campaign
against Christian women in Egypt.
On Jan. 2003 a new kind of killing against infidel Christians in Egypt was presented. A loaded bus with Christians, intentionally was sabotaged, by disconnecting the Breaks System, in order kill Christians. As a result, more than 20 people murdered during a tour in Sinai. That incident is similar to another one in which 30 Christian students killed, the investigations of Prosecution have showed the intention to kill Christians (Al- Ahram, International Newspaper, July 25, 1999. The Paper reported).
War crimes against Christians in Egypt are crystal clear and Mubarak must
hold responsible for it. Since 9/11 the regime still protects Moslem terrorists
and has done nothing to eliminate terrorist organizations. Moslem Brotherhood,
Jihad, Islamic groups, and Al-Azhar should be seen as a part of Mubarak regime,
which defends and covers them up. Islamic School operated by members of these
Islamic terrorist organizations, Mosques, and non-profit charity organizations
such as Al-Gamaiyia Al-Khairia, Atbaa Mohamed, and others still exercise same
practices and receive financial support from the government. In order to
continue the terror campaign against Christians, the regime is preparing
Mubarak’s younger son to rule after his father. First to cover up the crimes,
corruption of his father and older son, who is a main reason for the failing
economy and corruption of the regime. On the last 20 years Egypt received more
than 100 billion dollars aid and loans, unfortunately, most of this money went
to Mubarak’s sons and family, and now he is preparing his younger son to take
over the country. That means Mubarak’s terror policy will continue and hatred
against America would increase, if Mubarak succeed to put his son.
Finally, United States must play a bigger role in Egypt to achieve the following:
·
Promoting democracy and Human Rights.
·
Pressure the existing Arab Islamic regime to eliminate terrorist
organizations, down sizing Al-Azhar, shutting down the Islamic Schools, and stop
all finance for such Islamic organizations, institutions.
·
United States should stay away from Mubarak’s plan to set up his son
from being a next president to cover up his father’s crimes.
·
United States should open the case to prosecute Mubarak’s regime as war
criminals against humanity.
·
USA should encourage the separation between religion and State, and
insist in democracy by helping opposition to form a future secular government.
·
Finally, stop all aids to such a regime until comply and respects the
Human Rights, as well as enlist that uncivilized regime as state sponsor
terrorism.
